Get Saved

And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he Beheld the Serpent of brass, he lived. (Numbers 21:9)

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:14-15)

The Gospel Message

Separation
Unbeliever, please take a moment of quiet and with a genuine contrite heart ask yourself, what is your purpose in this world? Why are you here on earth? Or why do you exist? What happens after I die? I know the scoffing heart will say because I was born of my mother’s womb. Or I exist just to consume resources, live fatly, and then die. These scoffing answers confirm that you are suppressing a truth you don’t want to acknowledge (Romans 1:18). But your response says that you have no purpose in life. Is that what you believe? Do you believe that you are just a carbon based, chemical-driven organism whose thoughts and emotions are nothing more than just random chance electrical energy discharging in the brain? Can I tell you, that you are absolutely wrong! You are someone special and were made in the image of the Almighty God. He seeks a relationship with you but because of disobedience by the first man, Adam in the garden of Eden, you were separated from Him when you were born (Romans 5:12). Can I tell you since your biological birth, you are already halfway to Heaven. Jesus said in John 3:5 “…Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” Well, you were already born of water, the water of your mother’s womb. So, what is keeping you from being born of the spirit? To be born of the spirit you must understand that you are guilty before God. You must understand that you have transgressed, violated, broken, God’s law. I’m sure you are familiar with a few of them like lying, stealing, murder, and cheating. Maybe you even worship a god that is not the God of the Bible. Maybe you worship nature, or you worship yourself. If you put yourself first before others, you are exalting yourself before God. Exodus 20:3 says “Thou shalt have no other gods before me”. You know that you have told at least one lie. James 2:10 says “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all”. And you and I know we both committed other transgressions other than just lying. Romans 3:10 and 3:23 say that there is none righteous, and we all have sinned (broken the law) and come short of the glory of God. Jesus said in Matthew 19:17 “…there is none good but one, that is God…” Our sin is what prevents us from being born of the spirit.

Sin reconciled separation restored
There is only one that is Holy and Mighty who reconciled our sin problem. His name is Jesus Christ. He is God in the flesh and was crucified for our sins, so that we may restore a broken relationship with the Father. He removed the obstacle that prevented us from being born of the spirit. Since Jesus removed the obstacle, there is one thing you must do. Ye must repent (a change of mind) and turn from your sin and receive the free gift of eternal life from Jesus. Place your trust in Him that His crucifixion, burial, and resurrection will deliver you from an eternal death to eternal life. His blood blots out your sins before God. If you do this and with a contrite and humble heart confess your sins and ask Jesus to save you from an eternal death, He will deliver the Holy Ghost and you will be born again! You will have been spiritually reborn, a new child of God, that will enter the Kingdom.

Action
Please do not wait to accept Christ, as tomorrow is a promise to no one. If you have accepted Christ, please grab hold of a Bible and start reading. Find a bible believing church that believes in a literal 6-day creation and is not compromised with the fraudulent idea of long ages that undermines the gospel of Jesus Christ. Study hard and show thyself approved. May God bless you and keep you.
